Deep Roots Drainage is a locally owned company specializing in high‑quality drain tile installation for farms and rural properties across North Dakota. We’re looking for a reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. You’ll be running excavators, bulldozers, and tractors to help with the installation of drain tile systems across North Dakota. If you take safety seriously, work well with a team, and don’t mind a fast‑paced job, you’ll fit right in. Some projects may require travel and staying overnight in a hotel.

• Responsibilities    Operate equipment such as excavators, plows, tractors, skid steers, and support machinery for agricultural drainage installation
• Assist with layout, measurement, and grade verification for drain tile systems
• Load, unload, and stage materials including pipe, fittings, and equipment
• Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure safe operation
• Work closely with fellow crew members
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Uphold safety standards and comply with company policies and job‑site regulations

Qualifications

•   Experience operating equipment
• Enjoy working outdoors
• Physical ability to lift materials, climb in/out of equipment
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist with tasks outside of equipment operation
• Dependable, safety‑minded, and committed to high‑quality craftsmanship
• Prior experience in drainage, construction, or agriculture is helpful but not required
• Willingness to travel to job sites and work extended hours during peak seasons
